பாலை நிலத்தின் பல்லுயிர்ச்சூழல் 

சிதைந்து போனதனால் 

நிலமெங்கும் நீக்கமற 

நிறைந்துவிட்டன 

நீலமயில்கள்

வேதிவால் குருவி

சோலைபாடி

        தையல் குருவி

புதர்க்காடை

சிறிய மின்சிட்டு

சிரல்

சிற்றெழால்

      Yes, peafowls are protected well as they are national bird. Still they need protection. But the other species are declining. Monitor Lizard, Black naped Hare, Wild Cat, Bengal fox, Porcupine, Hedgehog and many more bird species and reptiles also should be protected. So the nature can balance the Peafowl population.

    The main reason for the decline of other species is the usage of man made fence instead of natural fence.
    The natural fence was the home for all those species which maintained the balance in the land.
    Now there is no place for them to live and Peafowl population has increased a lot. Farmers are also affected who ultimately were the reason for this.
